The work,
as it moves.

Product changes we have shipped, followed by the ideas we are actively exploring. No invented launch dates.

Available in the current early-access build.

01

A calmer place to write

The editor now keeps the common tools close and lets the document take up more of the screen.

  • A document outline follows long notes without crowding the writing area.
  • Everyday formatting stays in the toolbar; less common actions live in one keyboard-friendly menu.
  • Light and dark themes have clearer contrast across the application.
02

Another layer of protection for notes

Note content can now be encrypted before it is stored in the database, while the people and agents with permission can keep working as before.

  • Titles, bodies, versions, and comments are protected with per-note encryption.
  • The server still enforces the same access rules before decrypting content.
  • This is the first step toward optional spaces whose keys stay on your devices.
03

Shared folders, without moving the work

A folder can appear in another space while its notes stay with their original owner and context.

  • Share from Personal to a company, or from Company back to your Personal space.
  • Choose read-only access or allow edits, and change or revoke access later.
  • Shared locations are named throughout the tree, breadcrumbs, search, and editor.
04

A quieter Inbox and clearer reviews

Capture and review now put the next useful action first, with less setup competing for attention.

  • Inbox capture is the primary action, while agent setup stays available but out of the way.
  • Review tabs, counts, and empty states explain what needs attention.
  • Settings and the workspace adapt more cleanly to phone-sized screens.

These are product directions, not promises or release dates. We publish them because useful feedback starts before the code does.

01

Device-held encryption

Optional spaces where a passkey unlocks keys held on your devices—even Grip cannot read the notes inside.

02

Share one note

Internal links for selected people and revocable public links served separately from the application.

03

Live or copied sharing

Choose whether a shared folder stays in sync or becomes an independent copy in its new space.

04

Published folders

A considered way to share playbooks, templates, and collections that others can bring into Grip.
